Terrorism struck UK once again, Manchester Arena attack: 22 dead and 59 hurt

MANCHESTER- It was late Monday evening at 22:35 when the city of Manchester witnessed the most horrific incident of terror blast at the end of a pop concert by the US singer Ariana Grande.
Grande, a 23-year-old former child star, is not known for her political views. This was part of her The Dangerous Woman Tour. The blast rocked the foyer of the Manchester Arena as thousands of young fans and parents streamed out of the 21,000-capacity venue after the show by the US singer, whose fanbase is made up largely of teenagers and pre-teens. The Manchester Arena regularly hosts concerts by major stars.
This is the deadliest attack in Britain since 2005. Greater Manchester Police said the lone male attacker, who died in the blast, was carrying an improvised explosive device which he detonated.Chief Constable Ian Hopkins said it was “the most horrific incident” the city had ever faced. The explosion occurred shortly after Ariana Grande left the stage at the arena – the city’s largest indoor venue with a concert capacity of around 21,000.
Many people are still missing, relatives are struggling to get the information of their loved ones, and are using the Social media to trace missing people.
The country is curently witnessing the pre-election era and many political parties have been conducting the general election campaign across cities in UK as a result of Manchester attack all the political parties have suspended their campaings and have condenmpt the attack in one voice.
The blast occurred close to the entrance to Victoria train and tram station. The station has been closed and all trains cancelled.
